Fantasy Calendars and Planners 2010

I love fantasy art, don’t you? Calendars featuring fantasy figures are usually beautiful and therefor a great addition to any home, especially with children in the house.

The most successful fantasy story of the past decade is of course Harry Potter. His adventures in J.K. Rowlings books and on the movie screen have held millions captivated. He is therefore featured on Harry Potter Calendars, a Harry Potter date book, and of course several Harry Potter Wall Calendars.

The second most popular fantasy series features vampires. I’m talking Twilight… Edward Cullen and his girl are featured on some dark calendars too.

A common theme in many fantasy books is the unicorn. It features in Harry Potters adventurs as the ultimate symbol of purity. Check out these Unicorn Calendars.

Fairies did not make their appearance in Harry Potter or Twilight, but they’re still a large part of the fantasy world view. We don’t call them ‘fairy tales’ for nothing… Fairy calendars come in many shapes and sizes.

One of the most original artists making fantasy art these days is Susan Seddon Boulet. The Susan Seddon Boulet Calendars are more than just cute – they tell a story, as fantasy art should. So do these fantasy art dragon calendars.

How to use your academic planner to organize your studying

Make that deadline!

Papers cannot be written well the day before the deadline – that is, for most people that will result in a paper that gets at least one grade point lower grade than if they’d started well ahead of time. In college your teachers will not remind you of your homework every time you see them – and you also see them less often than in school. Still, those papers and tests do have to be done – and you want to do them well to get ahead. More about how to use a planner to stay organised in college.

Newest calendars and planners

Don’t you just love wildlife photography? It’s lucky for me they make wildlife photography wall calendars. I mean really, what can be more inspiring than these great vistas? Some of these calendars featuring Tibet are also nature photography calendars really. Others show us the life in Tibet: monks, children and women. While I’m sharing wildlife calendars, how about these lovely songbird calendars? There was a time, before the invention of photography, when people thought unicorns were real though rare and shy creatures. These days of course calendars featuring unicorns make no pretense to realism. These are fantasy calendars.

It’s a big step from nature to the kitchen. How about this fun pig teaching your kids how to cook? Or this Vintage Vegetables Calendar? In general I think it’s very suitable that kitchen calendars should feature vegetables and fruit.

Let’s move from such realistic art to the surrealism of Salvador Dali. I love his art, and I’m not alone in the sentiment.

Last but not least, there’s these Jewish calendars to help you keep up to date with temple holidays and these yoga planners to help you stay focussed in your yoga practice.

Top 10 selling calendars and planners 2009-2010

I sell calendars and planners online. Mostly I specialize in calendars for women and girls, spiritual planners, art calendars and nature photography. The following calendars and planners did best last year.

  1. Top seller has been for ages my selection of cute calendars and planners for girls (and women).
  2. Newcomer this year are the wildlife nature calendars.
  3. I don’t think anybody will be surprised at the next hit: Harry Potter Date Books.
  4. Also a new discovery for me are the family planners for moms and dads. It does make sense though: who doesn’t need help keeping the family organised?
  5. When I first got into this business, I started out on familiar territory: religion and spirituality wall calendars. Familiar for me that is: I’ve been into religion and spirituality for a long time.
  6. Taking that into account, the sales of Spiritual and religious planners also makes sense.
  7. Specifically Buddha and Buddhism Calendars
  8. And Witches calendars and date books
  9. Motivational Calendars are particularly popular now that people have lost their jobs and are looking for work.
  10. An old classic to close off with: Rumi Calendars, each containing Rumi quotes and poems as well as featuring beautiful spiritual artwork.
